Program Description
Oral oncolytics have become integral to the treatment paradigm for B-cell malignancies, with Bruton’s tyrosine kinase (BTK) being central in several signaling pathways. Pharmacists may encounter patients receiving treatment for B-cell malignancies with oral BTK inhibitors and must proactively monitor patients. Available digital tools have expanded the pharmacist’s ability to monitor patients and optimize outcomes. This podcast will emphasize the role pharmacists play in improving adherence and patient management through the use of digital and telemedicine technologies in this patient population.
