This curriculum is designed to give pharmacists a comprehensive overview of coronary artery disease and peripheral artery disease (CAD/PAD) so they will better understand how to impact and improve care in those with cardiovascular disease.
The 3-part webinar series will introduce a patient who will be followed across each webinar discussion as he navigates the CAD/PAD management landscape. After completing the activities, pharmacists will be able to understand CAD/PAD through the patient journey, be up-to-date with current treatment guidelines, including the role of anticoagulation in secondary prevention, and have increased comfort in relaying this information to their patients.
