Program Description

This podcast will examine recent updates and clinical data for approved or authorized pharmacologic therapy and agents under investigation for the treatment of COVID-19 infection. As information related to the management of COVID-19 is constantly evolving, this podcast will include discussion of relevant updates to safety and efficacy of treatment options and provide tools for pharmacists to educate other individuals on this changing landscape of care.

Educational Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

• Interpret safety and efficacy data for recently approved, authorized, or investigational agents for the treatment of COVID-19
• Illustrate how pharmacists can assist with educating patients and other health care providers regarding the latest updates to the treatment of COVID-19
