This activity is part 3 of a 3-part webinar curriculum and includes a Powered by Patients™ video interview.

Program Description

Pharmacists play vital roles in overseeing medication therapy management, optimizing patient outcomes, and reducing the disease burden for those living with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Their responsibilities in the care of patients with COPD include developing personalized treatment plans and providing clear instructions on proper inhaler technique, medication adherence, and adverse effects. This third webinar in the COPD curriculum will provide pharmacists with practical strategies to address unmet needs for patients with COPD. Tools and insights will be presented to equip pharmacists within the multidisciplinary care team to minimize exacerbations and tailor treatment regimens for patients based on the latest clinical evidence. By leveraging their medication expertise, addressing unmet needs, and fostering collaboration, pharmacists can significantly improve the continuity of care in COPD management and patient outcomes.
