B-cell malignancies have historically been treated with intravenous cytotoxic chemotherapies and immunotherapies, with treatment options now including oral therapies. Bruton’s tyrosine kinase (BTK) inhibitors are now recommended in the treatment paradigm of many B-cell malignancies, with clinical data and guidelines continually evolving. This program will review emerging data for the use of BTK inhibitors, as well as the role of digital technologies to assist in medication adherence and coordination of care. Additionally, adverse effect incidence and management strategies will be discussed, with an emphasis on bleeding and cardiac effects.
