Program Description
Pharmacists often provide education to patients with hyperlipidemia about the risks and health consequences associated with untreated or undertreated low-density lipoprotein cholesterol and residual cardiovascular risk. This webinar explores how the pharmacist’s involvement in the multidisciplinary care team can facilitate evidence-based incorporation of non-statin medications into hyperlipidemia treatment regimens. Examples of pharmacist-led clinical interventions to achieve treatment goals that will be discussed include medication therapy management, guideline and treatment adherence, and medication access.
