As the treatment landscape for eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) continues to expand, community pharmacists will have greater roles within the multidisciplinary teams that manage patients and therapies. Through effective patient counseling, pharmacists can become active partners in EoE care and treatment plans. This webinar will equip pharmacists to share essential medication information with patients with EoE. Topics within this discussion will focus on identifying patients with EoE, ensuring medication adherence, and managing potential adverse effects.

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

• Develop counseling strategies for community pharmacists when interacting with patients on oral therapy for treating eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE)
• Show the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in the management of EoE
• Examine the role of the community pharmacist in identifying and supporting patients/caregivers with EoE.
