Program Description
IgA nephropathy (IgAN) can result in progressive kidney damage that can significantly impact patients’ quality of life. Additionally, as the progression of IgAN varies significantly among individuals, it can be challenging to predict patient outcomes. This webinar will focus on the practical application of the latest IgAN research and guidelines through a comprehensive case-based analysis of real-world patient scenarios. Each case will emphasize distinct clinical presentations of IgAN and review treatment challenges. Throughout the case discussions, expert faculty will emphasize treatment interventions and evidence-based management of IgAN. Participants will be challenged to apply the updated 2025 KDIGO guidelines to treatment approaches, review appropriate use of disease-modifying agents, and discuss the role of recently approved and emerging therapies. Managed care and operational strategies to optimize access to novel therapies will also be covered.
