Program Description

Given the chronic nature of eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE), effective therapies are central to managing the condition, preventing complications, and improving patients' quality of life. Treatment goals for EoE include the resolution of symptoms and eosinophilic inflammation, maintenance of remission, and avoidance of potential complications. The expanding treatment landscape now includes biologics and oral therapies, and pharmacists will require knowledge of their efficacy and safety profiles to support treatment decision making with patients. In light of new therapy approvals, staying up to date on treatment guidelines is crucial. This webinar will explore the treatment landscape of EoE. Participants will review key considerations for patient selection and eligibility according to guideline recommendations as well as strategies to optimize adherence and manage potential adverse effects.
