The Directions in Pharmacy® spring conference offers community and health-system pharmacists the opportunity to participate in various interactive sessions that provide the most current and relevant information. The complexity of new regimens and need for coordination of care across practice and pharmacy settings has reinforced and expanded the role of pharmacists. Sessions will highlight disease-state management, clinical data, and treatment guidelines as well as best practices for optimal patient care for a wide variety of therapeutic areas.
Educational Objectives
Upon completion of this application-based educational conference, pharmacists should be able to:
This continuing education program is directed toward pharmacists practicing in community and health-system environments.
Topics will include:
Biosimilars, influenza treatment, vaccinations, diabetes, heart failure, hyperkalemia, immuno-oncology, and COVID-19

- Analyze current guidelines and recommendations for prevention and treatment of respiratory illnesses.
