Program Description
The treatment landscape for pediatric patients with atopic dermatitis (AD) now encompasses oral, topical, and injectable therapies in novel medication classes. With expanding indications and treatment options, specialty pharmacists must be familiar with the safety and efficacy data for these agents and their role in the treatment of pediatric patients with AD. Clinical evidence for biologic therapies in the treatment of pediatric AD continues to emerge. This webinar will focus on the most recent trial results, dosing, and age indications for approved and emerging targeted biologics indicated for treatment of pediatric AD. Key counseling pearls on the administration and monitoring of adverse effects that can be shared with caregivers will also be discussed.
