Pharmacists can play a key role in patient counseling and ensuring medication adherence, especially in the treatment of patients with cancer. Though therapies for multiple myeloma (MM) have shown efficacy in prolonging patient overall survival and progression-free survival, they are associated with unique adverse effect profiles. This podcast discussion will center on strategies for pharmacists to mitigate toxicity and implement appropriate supportive care for patients with MM.
