Program Description
It is important for pharmacists to be aware of the implications of recent guideline updates and have a knowledge of emerging data for advanced endometrial cancer. As treatment options multiply, fostering informed discussions with patients and individualizing treatment plans is paramount. In addition, current treatment offers improved survival but does not come without concerns related to potential adverse effects. Pharmacists have a pivotal role in preventing, monitoring, and treating adverse effects, and they can provide support to patients throughout their treatment journey. This activity will include a panel discussion spotlighting challenging cases. Faculty will provide their insight and experience in the intricate decision-making processes in the treatment of advanced endometrial cancer and the adept management of toxicities.

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Analyze the molecular mechanisms underpinning endometrial cancer, particularly in the context of personalized medicine, to facilitate the informed and optimized use of immune checkpoint inhibitors in its treatment
- Translate updated clinical evidence and emerging trends in primary advanced or recurrent endometrial cancer into actionable insights for patient care
- Identify appropriate interventions that mitigate the severity of toxicities caused by either immunotherapy or targeted therapy for advanced endometrial cancer treatment
