Program Description
The evolving role of artificial intelligence (AI) in pharmacy practice has been at the forefront of pharmacy conversations. The rapid evolution of AI in health care over recent years has included advancements in disease prediction and patient monitoring, as well as AI-driven diagnostic tools that enhance the accuracy of medical imaging. Likewise, there have been numerous opportunities for incorporating digital advancements and AI technology into pharmacy practice. This keynote session for the 2024 Directions in Pharmacy Conference explores current uses of AI in pharmacy practice and practical approaches for integrating AI into everyday clinical pharmacy operations and personalizing patient care, thus supporting more informed therapeutic decision-making.
