This module will equip pharmacists with the knowledge and skills necessary to play a pivotal role in administering respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccines to older adults. Participants will learn about the important roles of pharmacists in providing RSV vaccinations, providing patient education, addressing vaccine hesitancy, and ensuring proper administration. The module will also cover practical aspects of vaccine administration, such as handling and storage, documentation requirements, coadministration with other vaccines, and managing adverse reactions. By understanding their roles in RSV vaccination, pharmacists can optimize vaccine uptake and improve the health of older adults.
