Program Description

Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is the most common form of lung cancer in the United States. Treatment with targeted therapies has dramatically shifted the therapeutic landscape, as non-small cell lung cancer is associated with numerous actionable mutations. Among these therapies are agents targeted for anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) and ROS proto-oncogene 1 (ROS1) biomarkers. This webinar will focus on the role of ALK and ROS1 gene rearrangements in NSCLC, with an emphasis on the clinical data supporting the use of ALK and ROS1 inhibitors in patients with NSCLC. Additionally, the role of the pharmacist in caring for this patient population will be emphasized.
