Exploring the Value of Pharmacist-Led Toxicity Management for New and Emerging Antibody-Drug Conjugates Across Solid Tumors

Program Description

As more antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) are approved for the treatment of solid tumors and integrated into clinical pathways, oncology pharmacists should be aware of toxicities associated with their use. Adverse effects (AEs) of therapy can vary based on target antigen, so identifying the ADC product each patient is receiving to ensure individualized AE prevention and management is imperative. This webinar will focus on the latest clinical trial data, guideline updates, and strategies for the prevention and management of common AEs associated with ADCs. Approaches for oncology pharmacists to counsel patients on signs and symptoms of situations warranting self-treatment versus those requiring more serious medical attention to minimize treatment discontinuation will also be outlined.
