Management of non-small cell lung cancer has significantly evolved with the expanding role of molecular testing to guide treatment decisions. Testing for molecular and immune biomarkers allows for targeted disease management. This discussion focuses on the lesser-known biomarkers RET, MET, and KRAS and their corresponding targeted therapies. Patient education points regarding adherence and adverse effect management will also be reviewed.
