Program Description
Treatment goals for patients with eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) have expanded from symptomatic improvement to attaining complete resolution of symptoms and preventing complications. A deeper understanding of the pathophysiology of EoE has led to the discovery of various targets that may be susceptible to biologic therapy, with 1 medication approved for patients 12 years and older. Emerging evidence for biologic therapy may lead to additional therapeutic options for younger pediatric patients as well. This webinar is directed on current guideline recommendations, emerging treatment targets, and biologic therapies under investigation for pediatric patients with EoE.
