Continuing the Conversation: Navigating Myelofibrosis: Tailored Treatments and Holistic Patient Support

Program Description

Although JAK inhibitors have improved myelofibrosis treatment, the choice of JAK inhibitor in myelofibrosis depends on patient-specific risk category and blood counts and many patients may still require additional therapies. In this Continuing the Conversation program, expert faculty will address key questions and build upon information presented in “Navigating Myelofibrosis: Tailored Treatments and Holistic Patient Support,” which was presented at COA 2024. This interview-style discussion will offer expert perspectives on personalized treatment approaches for managing myelofibrosis with JAK inhibitors, offering a deeper dive into personalized treatment approaches in myelofibrosis, including navigating guideline-directed therapy. Topics will include evaluating which therapy to choose for patients with high or intermediate risk, adverse effects, and best practices to address anemia.
