Program Description

The use of chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapies are impacting the treatment of many malignancies, including multiple myeloma and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. The use of these therapies requires all members of the health care team; there are many factors to consider when selecting therapy, as well as monitoring post-administration due to the potential for cytokine release syndrome (CRS) and immune effector cell-associated neurotoxicity syndrome (ICANS). Additionally, care coordination is important, as these therapies often involve teammates in both the inpatient and outpatient health care settings.
