This activity was originally broadcast live as a satellite symposium held in conjunction with HOPA 2022.
Program Description
The role of human epidermal growth receptor 2 (ERBB2) in treating breast cancer has been widely explored, with several agents currently available in treating tumors expressing ERBB2. In recent years, ERBB2 expression in other tumor types has been explored, specifically in malignancies including gastric, colorectal, and lung cancers. Following this program, learners will develop an understanding of HER2-directed therapies across multiple malignancies and will also be able to identify the role of the pharmacist in managing therapies for patients receiving these agents. Specifically, clinical data will be reviewed, with emphasis on the importance of early adverse effect recognition and management.
