Program Description
This podcast will summarize the roles of pharmacists in hyperlipidemia management and supporting cardiovascular health outcomes. Best practices for managing patients with hyperlipidemia, including identifying barriers to achieving recommended low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) levels, integrating non-statin therapies into treatment plans, addressing challenges in patient adherence, and applying strategies to improve cardiovascular outcomes, will be discussed through integration of patient case studies. Experts will outline actionable steps to ensure the provision of patient-centered care for hyperlipidemia treatment and management in their clinical settings.
