Advancing Pharmacist Expertise in R/R FL: Navigating Novel Therapies and Optimizing Patient Outcomes

Program Description

The treatment of relapsed/refractory follicular lymphoma (R/R FL) has significantly evolved, with the introduction of innovative therapies like CAR T-cell therapy, bispecific antibodies (BsAbs), and small molecule inhibitors. FL often presents with early progression high rates of relapse, with response rates decreasing with each therapy. Though treatment has evolved rapidly due to molecular mechanisms and innovative therapies, the absence of a definitive standard of care for third-line and later treatment lines complicates treatment decision-making. As part of PTCE's 2025 Lymphoma Day of Education, this session will provide oncology pharmacists with a foundational understanding of FL pathophysiology and key mutations, followed by a comprehensive exploration of guideline-directed treatment strategies across all stages. The program will also cover essential adverse event prevention, monitoring, and management strategies for these novel agents, including practical supportive care measures. This session features a Powered by Patients interview, through which participants will gain critical insights into the treatment experience of an individual living with FL.
