Program Description
In just the first half of 2021, the FDA had issued approvals for more than 90 agents for oncology and hematologic malignancies, despite challenges stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic. This activity contains an overview of agents entering the US market with an emphasis on novel agents approved for hematologic malignancies. Adverse effects associated with these treatments will be covered to assist pharmacists in providing education to other members of the oncology care team as well as counseling information to patients about their management.
