2024 PTCE Cardiology Day of Education

The inaugural 2024 PTCE Cardiology Day of Education will provide pharmacists with a half-day (4+ hours) of virtual-live education focused specifically on therapeutic advances for the management of cardiovascular disease and how pharmacists are involved in the care of patients with cardiovascular conditions across practice settings. From emerging drug classes to innovative treatment strategies, pharmacists will gain invaluable insights to enhance their practice and address the evolving landscape of care in cardiology. Session topics will focus on evolving treatment and management strategies in hyperlipidemia as well as recent guideline updates in atrial fibrillation. Pharmacists will be equipped to identify resources needed to successfully implement new and emerging therapies to optimize patient care.

Accreditation Information

Pharmacy Times Continuing Education™ is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.

Each CE broadcast/symposium is approved for either 1.0 contact hour (0.10 CEU) or 1.5 contact hours (0.15 CEU) of application-based credit.

Obtaining Credit

All participants who attended the live virtual broadcast need to log on to their Pharmacy Times Continuing Education™ account on www.pharmacytimes.org to complete an online evaluation form and request their credit. Instructions on receiving credit will be provided the day of the event.
