Welcome to the PTCE™ Speaker Hub

Your central resource for everything you need to prepare for your continuing education presentation.

This page houses all guidelines, templates, and forms referenced in your faculty confirmation email — in one place, always up to date:

  • PTCE slide deck template
  • Post-test question specifications and formatting requirements
  • Required forms (Disclosure Form, W9, and ACH)
  • Speaker Information Form (biography, professional listing, and headshot guidelines)
  • Travel booking instructions and reimbursement policy (where applicable)

Presentation Requirements

All PTCE continuing education presentations must meet the following requirements to ensure compliance with ACPE accreditation standards and program quality expectations.

Slide Deck

  • Use the PTCE slide template: Select the Oncology or Non-Oncology template, available for download below.
  • Resources slide: Include one slide listing additional resources that clinicians may use to deepen their understanding of the topic — such as clinical guidelines, professional organizations, advocacy groups, or patient-facing tools.
  • Conclusion slide: Include a conclusion slide as the final slide of your presentation.

Pre- and Post-Test Questions

Each presentation requires pre- and post-test questions submitted alongside your slides. The pre- and post-test use the same questions — presented at the beginning of the activity and revisited at the end.

Question requirements

  • Include one question per learning objective.
  • At least one question must be a clinical vignette or case-based scenario to demonstrate application of learning.
  • All correct answers must be explicitly supported by content within the presentation.
  • For each question, provide a matching learning objective and a 2–3 sentence rationale explaining the correct answer.

Answer choice formatting

  • Provide four unique answer choices (A–D) for each question.
  • Avoid: "All of the Above" / "None of the Above"; K-type questions (e.g., A and B, I and III); and True/False questions.

Speaker Information

PTCE requires a professional listing, biography, and headshot for each faculty member for use in program materials and conference listings. Download the Speaker Information Form below, complete all sections, and return it to your Project Manager along with your headshot and other required paperwork. If your information is already on file with PTCE and has not changed, please note this when you reply to your confirmation email.

Professional Listing

Your professional listing should include:

  • Full name with degree(s)
  • Title
  • Department or division (if applicable)
  • Institutional affiliation
  • City, State
  • Repeat the above for each additional position held

Biography

Please provide a biography of up to 200 words written in the third person. Do not submit a CV in place of a biography.

Required Forms

The following forms are required for all faculty. Complete and return each form to your Project Manager by the deadline noted in your confirmation email.
