  • At PTCE, we strive to bring the most current, impactful, and useful information to pharmacists to incorporate immediately into their practice and affect change in patient care. The PharmSkills® workshop is intended to be highly interactive and support the development of pharmacist intervention and patient counseling skills.
  • PharmSkills® workshops feature a pharmacy specialist as the facilitator who will challenge pharmacists to apply the knowledge that they have gained from the didactic lessons regarding individualizing patient therapy and educating on proper use of medications/devices.
  • Higher level performance-based outcomes will be measured by a hospital pharmacy department within a nationally recognized academic hospital. Data collected through pharmacist check sheets and internal recording mechanisms will be used to determine whether there were any pharmacist-level changes that occurred as an outcome of this educational curriculum. The partner pharmacy will assist in determining the specific measurements that are important to both patient health and their own institution’s commitment to improving healthcare quality and patient health.
